Pembi Planning Corporation specializes in Life, Health and Long Term Care Planning. Because this planning often involves other issues such as Medicaid planning, Medicare,assets, transfers, and your financial situation, we have partnered with other experts in related fields to have these other resources available to you. These areas include financial gerontology, eldercare attorneys, case workers, estate planning experts and other long term care planning specialists.
Pembi Planning Corporation was selected to function as plan administrator for the Long Island Association, Long Term Care Insurance Discount Program.The Long Island Association represents the interest of over 2,000 businesses and organizations here on Long Island or about 600,000 employees.
Because the Long Island Association(LIA) understood the impact that eldercare issues would have on the LI business economy, they implemented this program to try to minimize the effect of our looming aging population on caregiver responsibilities and the workers and their own futures. This program is very special because it allows small businesses to have the discount where they otherwise would not qualify because of their small size. In addition, employee spouses, parents, in-laws, children and retirees can all get the LIA membership discounts.
Although we represent large universities and companies, it all comes down to the individual, one on one relationship. We value each and every individual that comes to us for help in this planning. We understand that it is often a difficult first step to take in planning for your later years.
