No one ever wants to go into a nursing home! To me, the whole point of having a comprehensive policy that will provide coverage for in home care, and assisted living facility care as well as nursing home care is that one of these policies is probably your best bet for staying OUT of a nursing home. Long Term Care Insurance gives you options and choices that you have control over.

My hope is that for those of you who are visiting this website you will all have the good fortune of living long, happy and healthy lives. That is my wish for everyone. But it really doesn't matter what I want or what you want, because despite all of our efforts to take good care and eat right and exercise, sometimes things beyond our control just happen. So the best thing you can do for yourself and for your loved ones is have a plan. Many of us, as we get older, come to the realization that we have spent a good part of our lives taking care of everyone else! Especially we women....historically caregivers....so I look at this kind of insurance as a way to really take care of yourself. To quote Rosalynn Carter

"There are only four kinds of people in the world
- those who have been caregivers,
those who currently are caregivers,
those who will be caregivers,
and those who will need caregivers."
